Turkmenistan's presidential ride
On Saturday, Turkmenistan's president-for-life drove to the country's first car race in his Veyron. He wanted to wish the racers good luck. But then, the crowd convinced the Dear Leader to enter the contest. And guess what? He won!
What are some interesting cars in the Netherlands?
The Mrs. is currently in Holland riding a bicycle by day and staying on a barge by night. (Hence, I was able to go on a solo 980-mile, 3-day road trip staying at a random motel and consuming cheap shellfish.) My only request to her, other than having fun, was to take pictures of interesting cars. What will she snap pictures of?

Remember the McLaren F1 at the dealership? Here it is, at "home".
P.S. Alan, I'm trying to figure out if this collection includes an EB110.
H/t to Peloton25 for the images.

McLaren dealership mega-gallery
I visited the McLaren dealership in Palo Alto today. It was pretty neat. Surprisingly, only one of the vehicles in the showroom is for sale. The white one, which is used, can be purchased. Everything else is off limits. A thorough write-up will be posted on Hooniverse. The original F1, as you can see, is gorgeous.
