The previous head of BMW'S californian studio and subsequent chief designer for aston martin, henrik fisker set up his own design consultancy and carmaking business in 2005. his first works were based on BMW 6 series and the car was called latigo and that was followed by Mercedes-benz SL- based tramoto. in 2008, fisker made a big impression at Detroit motor show with the unveiling of a grand touring limousing powered by a hybrid engine. the plug-in electric hybrid car accelerates up to 80 kph before the petrol engine kicks in.
