Invicta made some very fine sports cars in 1920s and 30s, as well sa the most advanced car immediately after second world war- the black prince.however this brought the company down to its knees due to problems with its modern and innovative transmission and invicta disappeared soon after and it was just few years ago that marque was revived, clearly with the intention of retaining the trademark individualistic character of its designs. the s1 coupe is an ultramodern two seater coupe with carbon fibre monocoque bodyshell that weighs just 160 kgs. the engine, located at front, but driving the rear wheels is supplied by fords special vechile division and a choice of either a 4.6 or 5.0 litre v8 is possible.
